The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Querétaro announced the arrest and prosecution of Rodrigo “N” for the crime of usurpation of professions. The subject has been placed in justified preventive detention.
Rodrigo “N” is known on social networks by the nickname “Dr. RAQ”, a nickname with which he attended a clinic in the Milenio III area, in the municipality of Querétaro. The Prosecutor’s Office reported that the detainee performed cosmetic procedures without having the license required to offer this type of services.
In addition to the arrest, the authorities raided the aforementioned clinic where medical documents, surgical equipment and clinical records of his patients were seized.
“Dr. RAQ” as he was known on social networks, offered his services through a website and his Instagram profile. However, after his capture, the domain was deactivated and the social network account was left without posts. On the now-defunct website, Dr. RAQ claimed to have a master’s degree in cosmetic surgery and to have studied at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (UAG) and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), however, this is in question.
The arrest was made after a formal complaint was filed by a patient after having been treated by “Dr. RAQ” and having presented complications that required hospitalization and subsequent interventions.
He would have operated on Karla Sofía Gascón
Among the posts deleted on social networks were some with the controversial trending actress Karla Sofía Gascón, in which it was presumed that some services had been performed on her. However, so far, the Oscar nominee has not reacted to the matter.
