The Ministry of Welfare (Sedebi) presented the call for applications directed at people belonging to the LGBTTTIQ+ population to join the operational team of promoters of human rights of sexual diversity. In a press release, the head of Sedebi, Andrea Serna Hernández, pointed out that this call promotes the work of those who, with commitment and conviction, promote spaces of respect and recognition for all people. “Just causes deserve support. People who work for inclusion have faced barriers for years.
Today, from Sedebi, we support their efforts with actions that reinforce their work,” she said. Applicants must meet the requirements of the call, such as: belonging to the LGBTTTIQ+ population, being over 18 years old and having verifiable experience (certificates, diplomas, letters of recommendation, and awards).
They must also submit their application for intent, a letter of self-recognition as a person of sexual diversity, as well as a syllabus of training and/or awareness-raising actions and not have been a beneficiary in previous years. The selected people will receive monthly financial support of 8 thousand pesos for a period of five months to provide training to students of basic, high school and higher education; state and municipal public officials, mainly.
