Quintana Roo will welcome participants from across Mexico for the 2025 National Youth Sailing Tournament. Scheduled for February 7, 8, and 9, the tournament will see young sailors compete for the chance to represent Mexico at an international event in Portugal.
According to Miguel Mani, president of the National Sailing Association, hosting this tournament highlights Quintana Roo’s excellent conditions for sailing sports, positioning it as a prime location for future events.
Participants will use modern technologies, including special sailboats with two fins protruding from the water, adding an innovative touch to the competition. This event is set to attract attention and foster the development of young sailing talent in Mexico.
