In July 2024, the Futura bus line arrived in Tlaxcala and caused a stir by offering a new transportation option to travel to various destinations in the interior of the country from the capital’s Bus Station. However, after a few months it has suspended several runs.
The company has not reported whether the decision is temporary or definitive, but to date it has suspended runs to Guadalajara, Jalisco; Saltillo, Coahuila; Monterrey, Nuevo León; Chilpancingo, Guerrero; Acapulco, Guerrero, in addition to Tulancingo de Allende Hidalgo.

There is no formal announcement on their official website of the suspension of trips to these destinations, although on their social networks they promote the visit to Tlaxcala for the traditional carnival.
The destinations that remain in force are: San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Irapuato, León and Saltillo Coahuila. However, the measure has generated discontent among its users who saw the line as a transportation option.
