A woman from the United States ran over a man who was riding a bicycle and caused him to lose his life instantly.
After the accident, the alleged perpetrator left the scene and stole a truck a few blocks away, causing several more accidents before being arrested by elements of the State Public Security Secretariat.
The tragic events occurred yesterday at 08:30 hours, when a man identified as Juan Manuel, 45 years old, was run over while riding his bicycle, near Manuel Gómez Morín Avenue and the intersection with Camino al Cóbano Avenue.
Unfortunately, this person lost his life instantly, as a result of the serious injuries he suffered.
The alleged perpetrator, named Jessica, 19 years old, originally from the United States and who was driving under the influence of drugs, fled in a white van.
Later, in the Parras neighborhood, another white Chevrolet 3500 double-wheeled pickup truck was stolen, and the owner left it with the engine running.
In her mad escape, the woman rear-ended the passenger of a motorcycle on Aguascalientes Avenue, which caused him to be injured and required to be taken to a hospital.
In her attempt to avoid her arrest, the alleged perpetrator again caused several accidents in which five vehicles were damaged, until she was finally arrested by elements of the State Public Security Secretariat on Aguascalientes Avenue and the intersection with Alameda Avenue.
Meanwhile, at the place where the lifeless body of Mr. Juan Manuel was left, the agent of the Public Ministry of the State Attorney General’s Office and the personnel of the Forensic Investigation Directorate appeared to carry out the corresponding proceedings.
