In the early hours of Saturday morning, an operation was carried out by the Attorney General’s Office with the support of the National Guard inside the El Campanario subdivision in the city of Querétaro, possibly related to the arrest of an alleged criminal leader. The first reports indicated that this operation began on Friday night and continued during the early hours of Saturday, allegedly derived from a federal investigation file.
Unofficially, it was learned that at least one person identified as an alleged criminal leader had been detained to be placed at the disposal of the competent authorities. The property in question was placed under the protection of the Federal Ministerial Police as well as the National Guard and the Mexican army for future interventions to gather information.
