The Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo beach binomial had the highest hotel occupancy in the state, with a strong presence of tourism.
According to figures from the Guerrero Tourism Secretariat, Ixtapa reached 85.6 percent in demand for rooms.
While Zihuatanejo Pueblo Mágico, had 61.4 percent in hotel room occupancy.
On a tour of La Ropa beach, hundreds of national and foreign visitors were observed enjoying the restaurants, others walking along the beach.
Some were resting on the lounge chairs and others were swimming on the beach shore.
There was also a large influx of people on Las Gatas, La Madera and Playa Linda beaches in Ixtapa.
