Blockade on the Mexico-Tampico highway in Zacualtipán due to demands for justice

On the afternoon of Tuesday, February 25, a blockade was registered on the Mexico-Tampico federal highway, near the community of “La Mojonera”, in the municipality of Zacualtipán, Hidalgo.

The closure of the road was caused by a group of residents demanding justice in relation to alleged irregularities in a judicial case. This blockade has interrupted the passage to both Pachuca and Tampico.

Authorities are already working to resolve the situation, but so far access to this important road artery has not been restored.
