Coatzacoalcos with three Gold medals, Veracruz with two and Xalapa with one are the teams that have obtained their pass to the Macro Regional of Beach Volleyball, to be held in Campeche next month, after the State Selection of the specialty has been held.
After two days of hard fighting, having as a setting the majestic Gulf of Mexico, almost a hundred athletes of the Juvenile Minor, Juvenile Major and Juvenile Superior categories, in both branches, fought not only to be among the three best teams of the state but also that pass to represent Veracruz in the Macro Regional.
This is how Coatzacoalcos made its home advantage count, once again, by taking three first places dominating the Juvenile Minor by making 1, 2, 3 in the women’s branch, and 1, 2 in the men’s and in the Juvenile Major Men’s.
The Senior Youth category was dominated by Veracruz, the two-time national champions, Giselle and Vanessa Chay, once again demonstrated their hegemony and are on their way to winning another title in this year’s National Final. In the men’s category, the duo formed by Alejandro Rodríguez and Cristian Tejeda took first place.
Finally, Xalapa also got on the podium and the couple made up of Fernanda Hernández and Claudia Morales won their place to represent Veracruz in the 2025 Macro Regional.
