Williberto once again touches the hearts of social media and people in the south by appearing at the Tamaulipas Carnival 2025 with a beautiful costume characteristic of this celebration.
The almost one-year-old dog has ‘melted’ his followers once again by making the tour in Ciudad Madero and Tampico.
Who is Wiliberto?
“Wili” is a mixed-breed dog that was diagnosed with erliquia in his first month of life, which left him with after-effects that he is still fighting.
Paralysis in his hind legs, loss of half of his right leg, and exposed bones were some of the after-effects that he was left with.
Sarahí Céspedes López, his owner, spends around 1,800 pesos a month on veterinary consultations, medications, and studies. However, the donations he receives have been essential to help him get ahead.
Of course, the little dog couldn’t miss the carnival celebrations, but he came with an important mission.
“We came to raise awareness about caring for them. They don’t talk, they’re not going to say what they feel. We have to be understanding with them, have a lot of empathy with them, care for them, love them and respect them, especially because sometimes we say we love them and we don’t respect them. They also feel,” he told Multimedios-Radio.
