The Monthly Indicator of Industrial Activity by Federal Entity (imaief) of Inegi presented short-term statistics on the behavior of industrial activity in the states. The report stated that industrial activity grew in Chiapas by 10 percent; Durango by 10 percent and in Baja California Sur by 6 percent in November 2024, at a monthly rate.
In November 2024 and with seasonally adjusted figures, industrial activity registered the largest increases in Chiapas, Durango, Baja California Sur, Guerrero, Nayarit and Oaxaca, compared to last October, in real terms.
At an annual rate, last November, the states where industrial activity showed the greatest increase were: Oaxaca, Guerrero, Baja California Sur, Durango and Colima.
