Colima, a state with great natural treasures, is home to one of the best-kept secrets of the Mexican Pacific: salt.
This condiment, produced in the region, is world-renowned for its flavor and nutritional benefits, as it contains less sodium than common salt and concentrates a large amount of essential minerals.
Its production is the result of an artisanal process inherited from generation to generation, in harmony with the area’s privileged geography.
The Director of Public Services of Armería, Colima, is murdered.
To honor this natural and cultural wealth, the Sal Real de Colima company organizes the Sal Real de Colima Fest, an event that seeks to strengthen the identity and pride of the salt-making community, as well as the surrounding towns.
Throughout this festival, attendees can participate in a variety of cultural, artistic, and sports activities, promoting local art, music, and talent.
