Coahuila Police officers seized a rental car from Nuevo León loaded with explosives on Tuesday afternoon in Ramos Arizpe.
The vehicle was stopped at the Mesón del Norte checkpoint, and after a search, dynamite and explosives were found inside.
Two people were traveling in the vehicle and were detained.
The vehicle and the items were handed over to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
At the FGR facilities, located on Francisco Coss Boulevard and Dionisio García Fuentes, in the Topo Chico neighborhood, it was learned that the suspects were transporting 290 white, 20-centimeter C4 emulsions labeled “Emulex Austin Powder Explosives.”
