This is José María “N,” charged with alleged criminal responsibility for the commission of aggravated homicide against 24-year-old David Martínez Ramos, who died from a penetrating stab wound to the chest.
Narration of the events
According to official information, the incident for which he is charged occurred on June 16, 2023, at approximately 4:20 a.m., when José María was on Circuito Interior Street in the Vivah Reforma neighborhood. He boarded a green and white taxi driven by David, who, a few meters later, assaulted him with a knife and then got out of the vehicle.
Minutes later, David Martínez died at the scene, while José María escaped.
Arrest in Zacatecas
The investigative team arrived at the scene and confirmed the discovery of David’s lifeless body. The Public Prosecutor’s Office opened the case file. Based on evidence provided by members of the Criminal Investigation Police (PID), the alleged responsibility of José María was established. He was arrested pursuant to a court order in the state of Zacatecas.
Initial Hearing
Recently, the initial hearing was held, in which the judge issued an order to bind José María to trial. He was ordered to serve preventive detention at Social Reintegration Center No. 1. He is granted a two-month period to complete the investigation.
