The Puebla Brilla program, led by Mayor Pepe Chedraui, seeks to improve security, reduce crime, and optimize energy consumption. With the installation of LED lights, this project will mark a step toward a more sustainable city.

The modernization of public lighting consists of replacing 49,000 obsolete lamps with LED technology. This will generate significant benefits, such as lower maintenance costs, greater energy efficiency, and a reduced environmental impact.

Mayor Chedraui emphasized that this transformation is key to making Puebla a more efficient and safe city. “Our commitment is to move toward a sustainable and safe model for all Puebla residents,” stated the mayor.

The Puebla Brilla program began in the Arboledas de Loma Bella neighborhood, where 320 lamps were replaced, achieving full coverage with LED technology in this area. This first step has been fundamental in initiating the complete modernization of public lighting.

The installation of LED lights not only improves street lighting but also contributes to environmental protection. According to Chedraui, this advancement will be crucial to building a brighter, safer, and more sustainable Puebla.

The Puebla government reaffirms its commitment to its citizens by implementing concrete initiatives that strengthen urban development and improve the quality of life for all residents.
