Tourists primarily from Arizona and California are expected in Puerto Peñasco during the Easter holiday season, shared Municipal Tourism Director Rommel Bustamante.
He emphasized that a total of 80,000 people are expected on the municipality’s beaches. They will be able to find accommodation in the more than 7,500 hotel rooms and 3,500 rental spaces available on the Puerto Peñasco Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) digital platforms.
The Puerto Peñasco Tourism Director added that the 80,000 expected visitors also include domestic tourism and that there will be coordination with all three levels of government regarding security.
The Municipal Government of Puerto Peñasco promises a series of activities in the busiest areas of the port, a variety of special events, live music, and themed parties in bars and clubs in the downtown areas of the municipality.
