UNAM will open a school in Oaxaca: these are the majors it will offer

Recently, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) announced the creation of the National School of Higher Studies (ENES), Oaxaca Unit, a new university campus that will serve students in the south-southeast region of the country.
The decision, approved by the UNAM University Council, is part of its 2023-2027 Institutional Development Plan, with the goal of bringing quality higher education to more people and strengthening the academic offerings in Oaxaca.

What programs will UNAM’s ENES Oaxaca offer?

The new school will launch its academic program in the 2025-2026 academic year with an attractive proposal for those seeking to pursue a degree, whether in person or remotely. Programs will be offered in four modalities: in-class, open, blended, and online, which will allow greater flexibility for different student profiles, according to UNAM.

The first bachelor’s degrees it will offer are:

Psychology (open and distance learning)

In addition, the creation of a Single Specialization Program for postgraduate studies is planned, which will also benefit professionals seeking further training.
