Mazatlán stands out on the national tourist radar

Mazatlán ranked seventh among the 10 most booked cities in Mexico for 2024 on the Omnibees platform. According to information released on April 1 from the Sinaloa Tourism Secretariat, the port remains on the national tourism radar. Mireya Sosa Osuna, Secretary of Tourism for Sinaloa, stated that Mazatlán is increasingly becoming a favorite beach vacation destination for tourists.

“Mazatlán is a destination that, in addition to being a sun and sand destination, has a historic center that makes us unique. It is a destination full of tradition, culture, history, and gastronomic richness. The Pearl of the Pacific has been diversifying with new tourist attractions, offering more and more activities for our visitors.”

The ranking published by Omnibees is led by Cancún, Quintana Roo, followed by Mérida, Yucatán; Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo; and Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

Ixtapa, Guerrero, ranked sixth, Mazatlán seventh, Riviera Nayarit eighth, Mexico City ninth, and Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, ranked tenth. Omnibees is the leading hotel distribution and technology platform in Latin America.
