The real estate sector in Querétaro maintains its expectations of sustained growth despite the uncertainty, while activity in 2024 closed at a 9.7% increase, said Alicia Rodríguez, president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) in Querétaro.

“All this uncertainty also exists with the United States, and well, even with all these issues, the real estate sector in Querétaro continues to grow. On a national average, Querétaro is positioned above average,” she indicated.

She explained that in the first quarter of 2025, the real estate sector reported positive performance, as Querétaro is one of the fastest-growing areas in Mexico.

Rental prices are rising in Querétaro

Yareli Iturbedo, president of the Association of Women in Real Estate Services in Querétaro (AMIS), indicated that this year’s increase was in line with inflation.

“According to the Federal Mortgage Society, housing prices in the Querétaro metropolitan area increased by 11.6% compared to the same period last year, so that means we’re growing,” he indicated.

He emphasized that this growth is driven by foreign investment in the state, as housing developers seek to build projects in Querétaro.

“They come to Querétaro for all the economic benefits it can provide. In terms of trends, the real estate market presents a sector with opportunities. They seek stability and growth, and that’s what Querétaro is currently offering,” he added.
