Starting next July, the capital of Chihuahua will have new air routes to the cities of Querétaro, Los Mochis, and La Paz, Baja California Sur.
The announcement was made during the 2025 Mexico Tourism Fair, held in Rosarito, Baja California.
The flights will include Chihuahua–Querétaro and Chihuahua–Los Mochis, Sinaloa, the latter with an express connection or stopover in the capital of Baja California Sur. All will be operated by TAR México, and tickets are already on sale on the company’s website.
Edibray Gómez, Secretary of Tourism of Chihuahua, said that these destinations will contribute to increasing the state’s tourism offering by generating an increase in the flow of visitors and, in turn, a greater economic impact for the state.
During the presentation, the official reported that this is the result of months of negotiations with TAR México.
Company representatives and authorities at various levels participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the inauguration of these flights.
Also present at the presentation were OMA’s Director of Aviation Development, Abelardo Muñoz Martín, and TAR Mexico’s General Manager, Alberto Chávez Sánchez.
TAR’s Commercial and Operations Director, Ángel García Colín; Orlando Barraza, Undersecretary of Tourism; and Germán Orrantia, Director of Tourism Promotion.
