With a strategy that combines tradition, art, gastronomy, and hospitality, the Nayarit state government, led by Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero, participated in the Mexico 2025 Tourist Market, the largest tourism festival and the most important tourism business forum in the country, held from April 28 to May 1 in Baja California.
Through the state Tourism Secretariat, Nayarit presented a comprehensive promotional proposal that demonstrates its cultural identity and gastronomic richness, positioning it as one of the most comprehensive tourist destinations with the greatest international reach in Mexico.
Prior to the official start of the market, the state had a prominent presence on Tijuana’s iconic Avenida Revolución, one of the most renowned tourist centers in the country, where it shared the art of the Wixárika people with the world. Through the talent of Nayarit muralists Cristian Mendoza, Eric Cisneros, and Miguel Delgado, Nayarit was the only state with an artistic participation in this space.
Likewise, at the iconic Liberty Station in San Diego, California, Nayarit displayed a representative stand that brought together its cultural richness, local production, and the state’s main tourist attractions.
The Nayarit pavilion at the 2025 Tourism Fair stood out for its color, authenticity, and comprehensive offering. One of the highlights was the sensory activation held at the Máxico restaurant in Rosarito, where producers from the municipality of Compostela offered tastings of high-quality coffee under the Café La Joya and Café Aroma Real brands, demonstrating the history and expert work that position Nayarit coffee as one of the finest in the country.
Nayarit’s participation in the 2025 Tourism Fair has also been a source of pride, winning first place in three categories of the “Best of Mexico 2025” awards: Lo de Marcos was recognized as the best beach to discover in 2025; Nayarit was also crowned the best state to explore by road, with routes that captivate visitors with every mile; and the community tourism experience “Feeling the Spirituality and Warmth of the Wixárika People” was named the best in the country in its category.
Governor Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero has consolidated a tourism policy based on pride in its roots and constant innovation, promoting Nayarit as an authentic destination with a strong cultural identity. Nayarit’s participation in the 2025 Tourism Fair opens new avenues for economic and tourism development, projecting the state as a national and international benchmark.
