A multiple rollover crash on the federal highway from Ciudad Victoria to Monterrey, in Tamaulipas, left six people dead, including minors, and five injured.
The accident occurred on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at kilometer 107 in Villagrán, a municipality located one hour south of the state of Nuevo León.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene, also with air support, to treat five survivors, who were taken to nearby hospitals.
According to preliminary reports, the vehicles involved were a double-trailer tractor-trailer, a pickup truck, and a recent model sedan.
Witnesses reported that the tractor-trailer was traveling at excessive speed and crossed into the lane, striking the car, sending it off the road.
Four people were found dead inside, including minors.
The truck collided with the pickup truck, killing two of its occupants, and then one of its containers was overturned on the asphalt.
