Little by little, the Chapala Corridor and the surrounding neighborhoods are taking on a new face. The mayor of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Gerardo Quirino Velázquez Chávez, made a supervisory visit to four projects, investing nearly 37 million pesos.
“If we can completely resurface it, it’s 7.8 million pesos, and the length is 850 meters, almost a kilometer that we were able to rebuild, but this is just the beginning. We’re going to lower the budget for section 33, which is federal, to continue. We’re going to continue, and we announced it right now with José Ibarra Street: we’re going to completely rebuild it. Miguel Cabrera Street, we’re also going to completely rebuild it. And what do you think? What did I tell you we were going to do after this the last time I came? We’re going to start the sports complex right now, too.”
Projects delivered and in progress:
- Javier Mina Street, La Calera: 7.9 million pesos
- Los Silos Avenue: 7.8 million pesos
- Los Silos Sports Complex (1st phase): 16.5 million pesos
- Capilla de Descanso, Zapote del Valle: 4.7 million pesos
Total investment: 36.9 million pesos
