The governor of Querétaro, Mauricio Kuri González, and the director of the Querétaro State Mobility Agency (AMEQ), Gerardo Cuanalo Santos, launched the new Qro Taxi model, announcing that more than 7,150 state concessions will be incorporated into the platform system through the QroBus app.
In addition, financing support will be provided for 1,000 units over a 60-month period, with a total investment of 40 million pesos, as well as incentives to reduce vehicle acquisition costs.
The director of AMEQ, Gerardo Cuanalo Santos, reported that 700 new concessions will be granted throughout the state. Additionally, 300 vehicles will be eligible for renewal through this scheme.
Registration for the program will be open from May 23 to July 7, and all interested parties who meet the legal requirements for both the granting of new concessions and financing may participate.
In total, one thousand 2025 model Nissan vehicles will be made available, which will feature air conditioning, power windows, six airbags, among other features.
How much will the concession cost per taxi?
Cuanalo Santos explained that those interested in obtaining a new concession must cover a fee of 14,000 pesos for the concession process, in addition to 6,000 pesos for vehicle registration.
He added that this financing program includes 10 benefits, including: 60-month financing; financial support of 30,000 pesos applied to the final loan payment; zero down payment; and an additional bonus at the end of the financing period.
He also noted that, if someone prefers to pay cash and not resort to financing, they can purchase the vehicle for 257,000 pesos, maintaining all the benefits included in the program.
What advantages will it have?
The vehicles will be delivered with official registration and equipped with a tablet with mobile data connection for a period of two years.
In addition, they will be able to offer service through the DiDi app, since the integration of dealers into this platform has been finalized, with a reduction in the commissions it normally charges.
Finally, it was announced that the QroTaxi app will be integrated into the QroBus platform, allowing the latter’s 320,000 active users to become potential customers of the new taxi service.
In addition, the vehicles will have a digital taximeter, ensuring a competitive, safe, and fair fare.
