Morelia, Michoacán, May 7, 2025.- The Michoacán Festival of Origin (FMO) continues, and during these first days of activities, it has been demonstrated that this space is conceived and designed to guarantee a full and accessible experience for all visitors.
Following the theme of inclusive tourism, Roberto Monroy García, head of the Michoacán Tourism Secretariat (Sectur), reported that this family-friendly space has elevators, wheelchairs, and support staff to ensure the comfort of people with disabilities and senior citizens.
Likewise, the person in charge of tourism policy in the state reiterated that the Michoacán Festival of Origin is pet-friendly, so visitors can walk their animals on leashes in the play area, where traditional cooks, artisans, and producers of “the soul of Mexico” are located.
The festival is a meeting place where different generations can enjoy fun and healthy coexistence through its shows, cultural activities, and rides.
The festival is open Monday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, until May 18th at the Morelia Convention and Exhibition Center (Ceconexpo).
