Due to the intense rains recorded in recent hours, which have left approximately 4.4 inches of precipitation, flooding and overflows have been reported in some parts of the city of Piedras Negras, Coahuila.
The Piedras Negras Municipal Government and the Civil Protection and Fire Department reported that the storm also caused damaged vehicles and power outages.
Even families in the Vista Hermosa neighborhood had to be rescued from their homes due to flooding.
The Piedras Negras Municipal Government urged extreme caution:
Avoid crossing flooded areas.
Stay away from rivers and streams.
Do not walk on streets with standing water.
Secure objects that could be swept away by the current.
Pay attention to official instructions.
