Governors of Colima, Guanajuato, Michoacán, and Jalisco met to strengthen security operations.

Leaders of the states of Colima, Guanajuato, Michoacán, and Jalisco held a Regional Security meeting in the 12th Military Region in Irapuato, Guanajuato.

The leaders, along with military authorities and authorities from the participating governments, shared information to strengthen the operations being implemented.

“We continue to strengthen the regional approach, exchanging information, and adjusting operations as we have committed to within the framework of the National Security Strategy, promoted by the government of Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo (…). We all have responsibilities and efforts to contribute to recover and maintain the peace that our people yearn for and deserve,” explained Indira Vizcaíno.

The leaders of these states have held previous meetings to follow up on the actions of this federal strategy, which were carried out in Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, and Jalisco.
