Eleazar Pulido Landeros, alias “Delta 10”, a high-priority binational target, has been located dead in the municipality of Pitiquito, Sonora, as a result of an attack by a criminal group.

Pulido Landeros was being sought by authorities after a warrant for his arrest was issued, with a reward of up to half a million pesos offered by the Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado (FGJE) of Sonora. He had been a fugitive in the desert region, evading capture for an extended period.

The discovery marks the final dismantling of “Los Deltas”, following coordinated efforts between the Gabinete de Seguridad de Sonora and national and US authorities.

According to reports from the Sonoran Fiscalía, all members of the group are either in custody or have been neutralized. The authorities had been pursuing Pulido Landeros relentlessly, with his detention being a priority.

Pulido Landeros, also known as “El Chachis”, was implicated in the murder of former US Marine Nicholas Douglas Quets, which occurred on October 18th of last year along the Altar-Caborca highway. He and two other men were killed by members of a rival criminal group near the local baseball stadium.
