The eight people arrested by the State Police on the Mexico-Puebla Highway, at kilometer 80, in the municipality of Tlalancaleca, have been charged with pretrial detention.
In a bulletin, the Puebla delegation of the Attorney General’s Office announced the charges against Francisco “N”, Héctor “N”, Gerardo “N”, Jonathan “N”, Óscar “N”, Lizardo “N”, Omar “N”, and Juan “N”.
This is due to their probable responsibility in the commission of the crimes of express kidnapping and attacks on communication routes, involving possession of an inhibitor.
This incident occurred at kilometer 80 of the Mexico-Puebla Highway, heading towards Puebla.
At the scene, people were unloading a truck and transferring the merchandise to other vehicles. Authorities arrived at the scene, where they arrested the defendants, rescued one person, and seized a tractor-trailer, three pickup trucks, and a signal jammer with 16 antennas.
The eight people were handed over to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office, who filed charges, provided the legal evidence, and requested that they be brought to trial.
The judge hearing the criminal case ruled the request admissible and imposed, as a precautionary measure, pretrial detention.
