Early Monday morning, a massive fire completely destroyed the “La Bocha” restaurant and bar, located on Bernardo Quintana Boulevard near the Bosques del Acueducto neighborhood in Querétaro. Despite the magnitude of the fire, no injuries or casualties were reported.
Members of the Heroic Fire Department of Querétaro, along with Civil Protection and Municipal Police personnel, responded to the scene and worked for more than two hours to extinguish the fire. Despite their intervention, the flames completely consumed the building.

The fire started around 2:30 a.m., and the cause of the fire is still unknown. Neighbors and drivers traveling in the area alerted emergency services when they noticed the flames beginning to spread rapidly.
During the intervention, two dogs found inside the building were rescued and handed over to a citizen for safekeeping and personal care.
The area was cordoned off due to a potential structural risk. The Risk Analysis team will follow up on the corresponding assessment to prevent any situation that could endanger the community.
