This individual, identified by the initials A.G., was caught carrying out electoral activism activities aboard an official vehicle, a white Ford Ranger pickup truck with no license plates.

Arrest and circumstances

The arrest took place on Cuauhtémoc Avenue in Durango, where the pickup truck attracted attention for its tinted windows. When intercepted, the detainee presented a passport and stated that he was originally from Pachuca, and that he was coordinating the campaign of a candidate for municipal president.

This incident is concerning, as it implies the misuse of public resources to campaign in a state other than his own.

The PGJEH also emphasized the importance of maintaining fluid communication with Durango authorities to ensure that appropriate measures are taken against this type of irregularity.
