Almost simultaneously, power outages have been reported in various neighborhoods in the Veracruz-Boca del Río metropolitan area.

Around 8:00 p.m. this Tuesday, a series of power outages left businesses, offices, and several streets in the downtown area of Veracruz and the tourist area of Boca del Río in the dark.

According to initial reports, on Independencia Avenue in the historic center of Buenos Aires, several buildings and streetlights lost power and went dark, while some businesses with emergency power supplies managed to keep their lights on.

Near Zamora Park, streetlights and businesses were also seen in the dark, prompting people to leave the streets.

In addition to the initial outages in Veracruz, power outages were also reported in several neighborhoods in Boca del Río, including the area around the Luis Pirata Fuente soccer stadium.

Cases such as those in the Reforma neighborhood, Martí and España streets, where homes and cafes were left without power for several minutes, illuminated only by car headlights and cell phone flashlights.

On social media, power outages were also reported in Casas TAMSA, the Carranza neighborhood, Nueva Era, the López Mateos neighborhood, the El Coyol housing development, Las Vegas, and parts of the tourist and shopping center area.

According to social media users, a power outage was also reported in Plaza Andamar.

Due to this problem, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) stated that it is already working to restore power as soon as possible.
