As part of the 5 de Mayo Brand project, Puebla Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier announced the arrival of instant coffee bearing the same name, with the goal of helping the world’s leading coffee producers.

It’s worth noting that Mexico is one of the world’s leading coffee producers and where it is most consumed at home.

Therefore, the state government will launch Cinco de Mayo Instant Coffee, an initiative that seeks to transform this logic under a social and nationalist vision promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo.

The project, promoted by Puebla coffee growers in coordination with the state government, has the main objective of increasing the added value of coffee produced in the Sierra Norte and the Teziutlán region.

It would prevent small producers from continuing to sell at low prices to large intermediaries or foreign brands.

Cinco de Mayo coffee will be 100 percent Puebla coffee, instant, and competitive in quality, but above all, it is an example of how economic transformation can be achieved.

With this brand, producers seek to encourage consumers to recognize and value the origin of the coffee they consume, promoting fair and nationalist trade.
