In Gómez Palacio, Durango, a warehouse containing food supplies and political propaganda was seized following a citizen complaint.

The Durango State Attorney General’s Office reported that the complaint was received on May 28, 2025, at the Laguna Region Deputy Attorney General’s Office.

According to the report, at the warehouse located in the Rincón de San Antonio neighborhood, individuals wearing white T-shirts with logos of various political parties were removing black bags that apparently contained food products.

Following the complaint, personnel from the Electoral and Citizen Participation Institute (IEPC) arrived at the scene and compiled a report and collected evidence. However, upon noticing the complainant’s presence, those present closed the gate and left.

Subsequently, the Public Ministry agent gathered evidence and requested a search warrant from the supervisory judge, who granted it.

The search was carried out on May 29th at approximately 3:15 a.m., with the support of members of the National Guard and the Mexican Army. A significant number of black bags containing food products and various political propaganda documents were found inside the warehouse. As a result, the property was secured and the process of accounting for the product began.

So far, neither the Prosecutor’s Office nor the IEPC have specified how many food packages were found or which political party the propaganda belonged to.
