A Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) worker was attacked by a foreign citizen while pruning in the Hidalgo Sector, near the road to Playa Manzanillo.
According to witnesses, the attacker approached the CFE team and began insulting them, demanding they leave the area, arguing that he did not want them working on “his street.” The workers continued with their work, which further angered the individual.
Suddenly and cowardly, the foreigner slapped the crew chief, to the surprise of those present. The situation did not escalate thanks to the timely intervention of neighbors who came out to defend the workers.
The residents expressed their outrage at the attack and asked the authorities to take action, as this is not the first time this individual has acted violently against people working in the area.
So far, there has been no information on whether the CFE or the victims will file a formal complaint with the relevant authorities. The incident has sparked outrage among residents, who expressed solidarity with the workers.
