After El Sol del Bajío published a June 1 publication about Residencial Náutico San Miguel, which offers houses and apartments on the banks of the Allende Dam, and after President Mauricio Trejo warned that it does not have the corresponding municipal permits, members of the Board of Directors issued a statement declaring that everything is in order.
“As Guanajuato businesspeople, established in San Miguel de Allende and with strong ties to the community for more than 30 years, with a deep respect for compliance with the law and an unwavering commitment to environmental preservation, in the face of claims such as the lack of municipal permits for the sale of housing units and land for residential use in the vicinity of the Allende Dam, it is necessary to state that this information is incorrect,” they clarified.
They also mentioned that they currently have the necessary permits from the Urban Development and Territorial Planning, Environment and Sustainability, Civil Protection, Municipal Transit and Mobility, Public Services, and Municipal Planning Institute departments, as well as from the San Miguel de Allende Drinking Water and Sewerage System.
The city is celebrating with a living history, vibrant artisan traditions, and a community that honors its legacy every day.
“In the procedures for the development’s operation, we also have authorizations from the Federal Electricity Commission, the Tax Administration Service of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the National Water Commission, and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation, all of which are necessary to properly develop the San Miguel Náutico Residential concept as a sustainable space that maintains a balance with nature and urban development.
“For several months now, we have initiated various media outlets inviting investors to join us in the development of this housing concept, and we are waiting to complete the procedures required by the construction process and subsequent marketing. Therefore, we have not been irresponsible in announcing and promoting the construction of sources of employment and housing development in the municipality of San Miguel de Allende.”
Regarding the conditions of the dam due to the invasion of water lilies, the Board of Directors of Residencial Náutico stated in the statement that: “Aware In order to maintain environmental responsibility, we are combating the spread of the iris that affects the body of water in coordination with federal agencies such as CONAGUA, local residents, fishing associations, and specialists from state government agencies. To this end, we have invested resources in its containment and subsequent elimination, in order to maintain environmental balance for the benefit of the communities that share the wealth of our natural resources, with the sole purpose of preserving our natural spaces. We are a business group committed to our environment,” they concluded.
