The city of Mérida came alive tonight as thousands of people flocked to its Historic Center for the 19th edition of the White Night festival, a celebration of local art, gastronomy, and creativity.

The event’s 100% Yucatecan program showcased the talents of the state’s artists, musicians, chefs, collectives, and entrepreneurs, making it a true reflection of Mérida’s cultural identity. From the early hours, the city’s central hub, 60th Street, transformed into a large open-air stage, featuring musical performances, stage shows, and visual art exhibitions.

Meanwhile, the gastronomic corridor on 47th Street offered a culinary experience where traditional flavors blended with contemporary offerings, catering to diverse tastes. The festival brought together more than 300 simultaneous activities, including concerts, guided tours, theater, dance, poetry, film, and interactive workshops, making it an unforgettable night for visitors of all ages.

Museums and galleries remained open until midnight, while restaurants, bazaars, and independent venues joined in with special promotions and experiences. Families, young people, and visitors toured the various cultural circuit venues, accompanied by the rhythm of batucada bands, circus shows, and contemporary dance performances.

The 2025 edition of White Night not only reaffirmed Mérida’s status as a cultural hub but also demonstrated the transformative potential of art when made accessible to everyone. With a massive public response and a festive atmosphere, the city experienced a night marked by creativity, diversity, and local pride.
