Once again, a foreigner is going viral in Mexico due to uncivil and disrespectful behavior. This time, the incident occurred in a movie theater in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, according to a TikTok user identified as Stephany, with the account @sthepany.oficial. The attack was recorded on video and posted on the social media platform on June 28, 2025.
The video shows a foreign man, apparently from the United States. The 18-second clip begins with the foreigner insulting the woman recording him. The man appears shirtless, wearing white pants, and barefoot. He was apparently accompanied by a young woman, who, upon realizing she was being recorded, moved away.
The video has three cuts. In one of them, the foreigner attempts to hit the person filming him with his T-shirt, while a female voice is heard saying, “Come on, hit me,” and “We’re going to make you go viral for a while.”
A man wearing a blue T-shirt can be seen briefly interposing himself between the aggressive man and the women.
In the final clip of the video, the man leaves the theater accompanied by a woman, and the two then leave on a motorcycle.
In the video’s comments, a user asked the creator if the theater’s security personnel intervened, to which she replied no, that they were told they hadn’t seen anything. She also confirmed that the woman seen next to the attacker was his companion.
At the time of writing, Stephany’s account had no further posts related to the case, although she wrote in the video description: “The truth is, these are all the videos I recorded. I’ll upload the famous context soon.”
