Nighttime transportation in Querétaro has gained greater importance in recent years thanks to the implementation of the Qrobus Nighttime system, with a frequency of nearly 20 minutes and free transfers. Thus, nighttime transportation not only facilitates the safe return of those who study or work extended hours, but also optimizes the coverage and efficiency of public transportation in general.
The importance of offering safe and accessible nighttime transportation lies in social, economic, and urban safety aspects. In social terms, the free service for students, which includes the provision of “Get on the Future” cards and pre-loaded credit, promotes equitable access to education and reduces inequalities.
Economically, it strengthens service sector workers, who are served by the same routes, which benefits the local economy. In terms of security, all buses have GPS, video surveillance cameras, and real-time monitoring, significantly reducing user vulnerability. Consequently, nighttime transportation in Querétaro has become an essential element for a more inclusive, safe, and efficient city.

The municipality launched two new nighttime transportation routes, the M214 and M215, in addition to the current service to expand mobility options. These routes will operate from 7:00 p.m. to midnight and will have a frequency of 20 minutes, making nighttime commutes easier for those who work late or simply need to get around the city during those hours.
