An intense downpour accompanied by hail surprised residents of the city of Durango on the afternoon of Saturday, July 12, causing severe damage to roads, urban infrastructure, and the power supply.
The meteorological phenomenon occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. and in a matter of minutes left streets flooded, vehicles stranded, and trees downed.
