The iconic Tales of Broca’s Street series, which captivated thousands of children during the 2000s, returns to Mexico City with an unmissable marathon this coming weekend.
The cartoon, based on the French anthology of fantasy stories written by Pierre Gripari and illustrated by Claude Lapointe, was adapted in the early 1990s into an animated series directed by Gilles Gay.
Where and when will the Tales of Broca’s Street marathon be held?
The screening of the series will take place at the Cineclub Incendiario, located at 85 Corralejo Street, San Bartolo Atepehuacan neighborhood, Gustavo A. Madero borough.
There will be three performances: the first on August 1st at 7:00 PM, the second on Saturday the 2nd at 3:00 PM, and the third and final performance at 6:00 PM. Admission will cost 50 pesos and includes popcorn for attendees.
