American founder of dog shelter in SLP disappears

The San Luis Potosí Prosecutor’s Office shared the wanted file for Paul Jonathan Brown, a 72-year-old American.

The man disappeared on July 20 in the municipality of Villa Juárez, San Luis Potosí, where he ran his dog shelter.

Paul Jonathan Brown was the founder and manager of the “Barks of Hope” shelter for stray dogs, which has 50 dogs under its care.

One of the collaborators reported that on the day of Brown’s disappearance, the shelter had been vandalized and the American’s vehicle was missing.

To date, the San Luis Potosí Prosecutor’s Office has not released any details about the case, and there are no lines of investigation.
