San Luis Potosí continues to position itself as one of the states with the greatest economic dynamism in the country, registering 2.3 percent growth in its economic activity during the first quarter of 2025, compared to the immediately preceding quarter, according to seasonally adjusted figures from the Quarterly Indicator of State Economic Activity (ITAEE) of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).
With this result, the state ranked among the states with the best economic performance in the period nationwide, only behind Sinaloa, Nayarit, and Guerrero, with growth also of 2.3 percent compared to the first quarter of 2024. This confirms the stability of the San Luis Potosí economy achieved by the Ricardo Gallardo Cardona administration.
The State Government has promoted unlimited development through an effective strategy to attract global investment, strengthen the industrial sector, and modernize infrastructure, making the State a strategic hub for national and international companies and generating well-paid jobs.
