State Guard personnel seized two vehicles reported stolen abroad, along with weapons and tactical equipment, during an operation on the Monterrey-Reynosa highway following a citizen report of the presence of armed individuals.
Responding to a C5 report alerting them to armed individuals in a shopping plaza located on the highway, officers spotted a recent model Blazer pickup truck, which fled upon noticing their presence.
During the chase, the vehicle’s occupants got out and fled on foot.
The seized material was transported and will be made available to the Attorney General’s Office for further investigation.
