Grupo Posadas announced that the new Devossion By Live Aqua Playa del Carmen hotel, an adults-only resort with 314 rooms, will open its doors in the coming days. This new property will operate under an all-inclusive plan and will be located in Playa del Carmen.
“We are incorporating resorts with unique offerings in key destinations such as Nuevo Vallarta, Playa del Carmen, Punta Cana, and Los Cabos,” announced Posadas Vice President of Development Mauricio Elizondo.
It is worth noting that the Fiesta Americana Funeeq Punta Cana will open its doors in the fall of 2025, with 498 rooms, in the exclusive Uvero beach area of the Dominican Republic. Over the past year, the beach hotels operated by Posadas achieved an average occupancy of 76% and a 16% increase in revenue per available room.
Grupo Posadas announced that during the second quarter of this year, the company’s revenues reached 2.849 billion pesos (approximately US$142 million), a 10% increase compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
