This pattern has been present throughout the week, with brief showers that could cause flooding and reduce visibility on streets and highways.
The SMN’s national forecast indicates that heavy rains (50 to 75 mm) are expected this Saturday in areas of western Durango, accompanied by lightning, possible wind gusts, and hail. Meanwhile, in Coahuila, only light showers (5 to 20 mm) are forecast, with no significant impact in the state.
Regarding winds, moderate gusts of 40 to 60 km/h are expected in various areas of Durango and Coahuila, as well as in other northern states, which could cause dust storms in desert or rural areas.
