The municipal coordinator of the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone (Zofemat) in Los Cabos, Rafael Guillermo Álvarez Munguía, placed new flags on El Médano Beach to enhance user safety.
The coordinator emphasized that the flags represent international safety codes, which provide information on sea conditions and help prevent risks during the stay of tourists and residents in the beach area.
He also extended an invitation to both the Cabo community and visitors to the destination to pay attention to the instructions on the flags and from Zofemat staff. He said that prevention and compliance with safety guidelines are essential for responsibly enjoying public beaches.
