State and municipal Civil Protection (PC) personnel, as well as various police forces from the Puerto Arista, Playa del Sol, Boca del Cielo, and Madre Sal Tourist Corridors, released statistical data for this summer vacation period.
With an influx of tourists of approximately 70,000 families, they visited the various tourist centers of this important area in the Isthmus Coast region.
Tourists visited the beaches of the Pacific Ocean, the Dead Sea, and the Dead Sea, where they enjoyed the restaurants and hotels serving tourists from different parts of the Mexican state and abroad.
Among the statistics from rescue and police authorities, it was reported that a male person died in the Boca del Cielo beach resort, in the Dead Sea. He was originally from Mexico City.
The Municipal Civil Protection lifeguards, the Chiapas Attorney General’s Office, and volunteers reported 11 water rescues: eight in Puerto Arista, two in Playa del Sol, and one in Boca del Cielo, all stable, while in Madre Sal, there were no new cases.
Other data provided in these statistics was the total of four missing persons who were located and returned to their families.
Regarding medical care, only one person was treated in this tourist corridor during this summer vacation period.
