This Thursday, Nayarit became the first state in the country to launch the course “Diagnosis and Clinical Management of Dengue,” a national pilot model that seeks to strengthen the skills of medical and nursing staff and students to detect the disease early and prevent serious complications.
Representing the state governor, Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero, Beatriz Estrada Martínez, president of the Nayarit DIF System, led the launch of this training and presented a mobile unit installed at the Tepic State Public Health Laboratory, where free testing will be conducted Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Representatives from IMSS-Bienestar and the National Center for Preventive Programs and Disease Control (CENAPRECE) attended the event, highlighting the importance of Nayarit leading the way in dengue care and prevention nationwide.
