The heavy rains that have hit the state have left severe damage in various locations, with the municipality of Eloxochitlán being one of the most affected.
Due to the storm that fell during the late hours of September 29th and the early hours of September 30th, the Tlacotepec-Azumbilla highway collapsed in the section that runs through the El Mirador Inspectorate, part of the aforementioned municipality.
This landslide caused the complete closure of the road, which has been secured by Civil Protection personnel to prevent any incidents. The agency announced that there are no reports of anyone affected or injured by this event so far and urged the public to stay informed through official media.
